HPLC solvent recycler for purists
Intelligent solvent recycling system requires no routine operator intervention or set-up and should generate savings of up to 90%, paying for itself in just 60-90 days
With environmental concerns and the cost of solvent and solvent disposal rising all the time, a cost effective method of reducing solvent usage becomes essential SolventTrak II (part number 100-300) is the latest version of the 'intelligent' solvent recycling system from SMI-LabHut, requiring no routine operator intervention or set-up

Smart solvent recycler launched at Pittcon
Built-in integration algorithm uses real-time baseline slope measurement to find peaks and properly divert them to waste without requiring operator intervention
Utilising an in-built algorithm similar to that used by chromatography data systems, SolventTrak II monitors the chromatogram and accurately detects peaks and sends them to waste.
The solvent eluted during baseline periods is recycled for use again.
An average solvent saving of around 90% is estimated, and the system can pay for itself in as little as 60-90 days, claims SMI-Labhut.
Peak detection and valve switching confirmation is output to a data system or integrator.
The system even has an option for automatic pump shut-down or column clean-up at the end of a run.
Each SolventTrak II is calibrated to a traceable Nist standard and includes a certificate of validation.
The SolventTrak II is available until 30 June 2005 at the discounted price of GBP775, while stocks last. Request a free brochure from SMI-LabHut ...
