Certified syringe filters improve HPLC results

A SMI-LabHut product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Feb 3, 2006

HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) results can only be as good as the weakest component so consistent and reliable sample filtration is essential

Cronus certified syringe filters represent a new standard in sample preparation excellence and give users complete confidence in their results, says SMI-Labhut.

All filters from the popular Cronus range are now available as a fully certified product with each batch of filters tested by an independent laboratory for pore size distribution, bubble point, water breakthrough, membrane integrity, HPLC extractables, permeability and efficiency.

Cronus certified syringe filters come with membranes to suit all types of sample including nylon, PTFE, cellulose acetate, regenerated cellulose and PVDF.

They are available in three different sizes (4mm, 13mm and 25mm) and in two different porosities (0.2um and 0.45um).

Every pack of Cronus certified filters comes shrink-wrapped in a robust re-useable plastic box and every batch is supplied with a certificate of compliance as a guarantee of the product performance and quality.

Full laboratory test results for any filter are available on request.
