New brochure and website as part of initiative to raise awareness of issues affecting information systems management in today's laboratory

Scimcon, a specialist scientific management consultancy, has launched a new corporate brochure that highlights the challenges faced by directors of pharmaceutical, biotech, and utility industries The brochure highlights the importance of developing successful information strategies to enable laboratories to deliver on business objectives

Scimcon also addresses the implications of failing to minimise risks within laboratory information system projects and advises on how to balance business benefit and regulatory needs with information and instrument systems compliance.

The brochure is part of a wider initiative by Scimcon to raise awareness of the issues affecting information systems management in today's laboratory.

Scimcon has also recently re-launched its website.

This provides more detail for lab managers requiring technical information on Scimcon's specialist knowledge, experience and can do attitude.

Visitors to the website will have access to a number of articles, customer case studies and up-to-date Scimcon news.

The site is now a comprehensive and valuable resource for Scimcon employees and customers.

Geoff Parker, commercial director of Scimcon, explains the rationale behind the new website and brochure: "The brochure is not just about products.

We see it as an opportunity to highlight the key issues affecting laboratory focused businesses.

The website goes a step further by explaining how Scimcon enables the laboratory to achieve results for all stakeholders and features case studies from customers such as Bayer and United Utilities.

We believe that the brochure and website provide a useful resource for both laboratory and IS managers.".
