ISO/IEC 17025 for natural gas, vehicle
emissions
Extends the scope of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in 2005 that permits Calibration Laboratory K064 to manufacture and sell metrology level-2 certified reference materials (CRMs).
Scott Specialty Gases manufacturing facility located in Breda, Netherlands, recently received accreditation by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) to manufacture multi-component natural gas BTU mixtures as well as calibration gas mixtures used for measuring vehicle exhaust emissions The accreditation extends the scope of initial ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation earned in 2005 that permits Scott's Breda facility, known as Calibration Laboratory K064, to manufacture and sell metrology level-2 certified reference materials (CRMs)

When used to calibrate analysers, Scott's accredited BTU mixtures are instrumental for precise determination of the caloric value of natural gas to within +/-0.2%.
