Sentron Europe has released a completely new series of portable meters, especially designed for use with the new Sentron Ion Sensitive Field Effect Transistor (ISFET) pH probes

The new Argus and Argus-x pH meters from Sentron are designed for ease of use and incorporate automatic recognition of stable measurements (auto-read), ISFET sensor evaluation and ease of calibration by automatic buffer recognition from either of 4 built-in buffer/temp tables.

Both meters have a five-button keypad and a clear graphics LCD display and avail of an elaborate interactive on-board help function, designed for true intuitive operation.

The advanced Argus-x offers date- and time-stamped datalogging for up to 300 individually identified measurement points, calibration interval signaling, and a galvanically isolated RS232 interface.

This offers the user the possibility to printout or send to a PC both GLP-conform calibration data and measurement point data.

Beside the known and proven features like robustness, long operating time and automatic temperature compensation, the Argus-x system offers an inductive battery charging system and optical data transfer between the instrument and the cradle which eliminates the need for battery replacement and open contact points so that a completely watertight (IP67) measurement system is guaranteed.
