Free CD illustrates diamond technology
SensIR Europe announces the publication of a free CD which illustrates the application of diamond sensor technology to Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy
The CD contains four videos illustrating how this diamond technology is applied to a wide range of samples They show systems which may be used with existing laboratory spectrometers as well as two dedicated systems; a compact field-portable FT-IR instrument, and an FT-IR 'module' which can be installed on a research-grade light microscope to confirm the composition of specimens
The videos are supported by a number of Application Notes, which are included on the CD.
These notes show specific examples of the way in which this technology has already been used to analyse a wide range of samples.
In addition, a link on the CD permits the reader to request a free library of several hundred spectra of materials commonly analysed by FT-IR spectroscopy.
