New ATR system
The new DuraVision UATR from SensIR Europe has a diamond crystal sampling surface and has been designed exclusively for use with the PerkinElmer Spectrum One FT-IR
The product is offered with either a single reflection or a three-reflection diamond attenuated total reflectance (ATR) crystal that provides a durable sampling surface that resists abrasion and chemical attack An integrated video camera images the surface of the diamond, and this image is displayed on a 100mm monitor adjacent to the sampling point

Portable FT-IR spectrometer
SensIR Europe has introduced the TravelIR - a compact, field-portable infrared instrument for the qualitative or quantitative chemical analysis of solid or liquid samples
The video system permits the user to position tiny samples with a high degree of accuracy, and to use the image to monitor contact of the sample with the diamond surface.
A video-out port allows the signal to be taken to a capture card in a PC, to store images to enhance reports.
The DuraVision UATR system retains all the accessory recognition features of the Spectrum One system.
Power to the video camera and monitor is automatically connected as the accessory is slid in to place, and the system software automatically recognises the accessory and the type of ATR crystal installed.
Like the standard UATR, the force applied to analyse solid samples is displayed and recorded with the spectrum.
As standard, the DuraVision UATR covers the range 4000-650cm-1.
It may be optionally supplied with an extended range facility to cover 4000-400cm-1.
