BlueNotes for the Danish blue - chloride
analysis
The new Sherwood BlueNotes system has been applied to the model 926 chloride analyser resulting in a salt analysis management system designed initially for the cheese processing industry
The BlueNotes system in this application comprises blue tooth dongles for Sherwood's M926 chloride analyser and for a balance (currently A+D and Ohaus), a Pocket PC which is Bluetooth enabled, and a laptop computer, plus the company's salt analysis software application The salt analysis software can be configured by the operator to suit their particular laboratory requirements
The Pocket PC uses a laptop as its host computer.

No need to take exact precise sample and diluent weights.
Automatic data storage and report generation.
It has been estimated that there is a 50% time saving of a skilled analytical technician when 50 samples are run in a batch.
