Panel Meters offer new A/D conversion
system
Spectra has recently added to its range the new 96x48mm TAS-1 Series of Intelligent Panel Meters
Already supplying a comprehensive range of panel meters and displays to the industrial market, Cambridge based Spectra, have recently added to their range the new 96x48mm TAS-1 Series of Intelligent Panel Meters The series incorporates a new A/D conversion system for a wide range of transducers, allowing the unit to reach effective resolutions on display of 32000 counts, with a high stability against thermal variations

Chromatographic acquisition software
24-bit acquisition system interfaces to computer via USB, meaning that no board needs to be installed, and is compatible with leading software packages
The TAS-1 model has 5 digits and measure process signals (unipolar and bipolar, for DC voltages and currents), temperatures (PT100/RTD and Thermocouples) and resistances, incorporating reaction to sensor failure and incorrect connections.
Reprogramming of the unit made especially simple and fast, with direct access to high and low indication levels and alarm set point levels.
It also allows "in situ" final corrections on signal input levels; with direct access to the signal adjust function.
In addition to front panel programming/adjustment, the TAS-1 can be connected directly to a computer with a simple plug and play system with the support software allowing complete reprogramming and maintenance of the unit.
The TAS-1 unit maintains a real-time communication link with the PC software, without interfering with the normal operation of the instrument.
With addition of the optional alarm output board; the TAS-1 has the capability to add further expansion boards for output communications and control, thus integrating the TAS-1 series into the world of industrial communications.
