HazardEx in the Regions roadshows
Will provide an understanding of the issues surrounding compliance with the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations
Sira Test and Certification, a UK notified body in the field of equipment for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, has sponsored the IML HazardEx in the Regions roadshows for 2003 The roadshows comprise seven regional seminars that follow the main national HazardEx 2003 event recently held in Coventry

The regional roadshows will provide managers, engineers, technicians and end-users from industry with an understanding of the issues surrounding compliance with the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSear) which implement directive 1999/92/EC, more commonly referred to as Atex 137, 'Use Directive', or 'Worker Protection Directive'.
The events are relevant for all companies operating a hazardous environment.
DSear will impact most industries, including pharmaceutical, process, oil and gas, industrial and manufacturing.
In fact, anywhere where dangerous substances exist and may cause harm to people from fires and explosions.
Sira is offering industry the total solution for all relevant hazardous area services covering risk assessment, area classification, equipment inspection, training and preparation of the required documentation.
For this reason, Sira has sponsored the seven key events alongside the HSE (Health and Safety Executive).
