The System5 replaces the highly successful RL system.
The first installation of the RL system was nine years ago at the University of Wales.
Icespy has been installed at hundreds of applications from the bizarre to the extraordinary.
Brenda Shrewsbury, Silvertree business development manager, said: "The most bizarre installation was a London mortuary at a London Hospital where one Icespy transmitting temperature logger was required for each occupant - very creepy but they never complained.
"The more usual applications are the monitoring of pharmaceutical and food products during processing and storage.
"Silvertree has hundreds of RL installations and has sold thousands of RL loggers over the past nine years".
Silvertree Engineering was established in 1988 and continues to grow steadily.
System5 is the end product of a two year research and development programme partially supported by a Dti Smart Award.
The result is a new sleek modern product range with a raft of new features.
