Organon Development is using CyberLAB ECMS for electronic storage of both human and machine readable data.
Key requirements are features like generation of a secure automated audit trail for electronic records and easy retrieval functionality of records, audit trail and meta data.
Organon is aiming to further implement their data management strategy at other sites to capitalize on improved intellectual property protection, FDA compliance, operational efficiency and productivity.
CyberLAB ECMS was selected over competitive solutions, as during comparative testing, Organon Development decided that CyberLAB ECMS was the most appropriate and user-friendly solution, which best fulfilled its requirements.
"CyberLAB has proven to best fulfill our data management needs and technology requirements due to its features, its user friendliness and its non-proprietary, web-based software platform; it is an important milestone to move to the next stage: "a less paper and more efficient laboratory," said Alexander Debets, General Manager of Organon Development GmbH.
"We are extremely pleased that Organon has deployed CyberLAB ECMS to manage their electronic laboratory data and reports in a 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environment," says Dr Soheil Saadat, President and CEO of Scientific Software.
"Like many of our customers, Organon's implementation of our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform provides a global solution that allows them to benefit today for managing documents and data for the lab, and tomorrow for managing unstructured content throughout their business value chain, from R and D, to clinical trials, to manufacturing, and sales and marketing.
CyberLAB can improve collaboration, security and compliance for any business process involving unstructured content.".
