Southern widens its spectrum

Southern Scientific has been appointed as UK distributor for Spectrum Techniques, an American supplier of nuclear spectrometry equipment

Spectrum Techniques supplies a wide range of nuclear science equipment from simple Geiger-Mueller counting instruments to complete spectrometers for gamma ray detection and identification.

Of particular interest to the growing Southern Scientific customer base will be PC based spectroscopy systems that include a scintillation detector with lead shield and multi-position sample stand.

These will suit a wide range of applications for both routine assays and teaching in health physics and nuclear medicine departments and research and teaching laboratories.
