The Spectroanalyser, available exclusively in the UK from Southern Scientific, is a compact, single or dual-channel gamma counter also available with an optional 1024-channel multi-channel analyser

Built with high precision, microprocessor-controlled pulse height analyser and high voltage supply, the Spectroanalyser is a highly cost-effective and capable laboratory instrument that will prove useful in all types of establishments involved with nuclear measurement The pulse height analyser setting is menu-driven and allows the user to select a region of interest simply and quickly

When the correct high voltage is applied to the detector, the pulse height analyser is calibrated directly in keV.

Output signals from the pulse height analyser are totalled by the scaler, which can operate in either a preset count or preset time mode, and background count is automatically subtracted.

Efficiency can be measured or entered by the operator and activity can be displayed in disintegrations per minute (DPM).

Made in the USA by AccuSymc, the Spectroanalyser has a serial computer interface (RS-232) that allows settings to be computer controlled and results to be transferred to the computer for printing, saving or further analysis.
