"Well-established across the world, the Sovella brand is synonymous with modern, high quality human workspace" explains Mark Burletson, the company's UK general manager.
"Changing the company name from GWS Systems to Sovella will serve to strengthen this positive association between the company and the brand, which many companies already view as one and the same.
"It also puts us in good shape to develop new market opportunities in specialist assembly and emerging manufacturing areas, such as aero electronics, medical device and nanotechnology applications.
"Here, the pace of change in research, development and manufacturing techniques demands an equally dynamic approach to workspace form and function.
"We're sure the modularity of Sovella's products will prove a key factor in their successful and efficient evolution".
Sovella's ergonomic range of equipment is designed to maximise employee efficiency and comfort while reducing floor space in development, assembly and manufacturing areas.
It features work tables and workstations, shelving and cabinets, drawer units and manual assembly lines which can be specifically tailored, then adapted to suit various industries.
Projects in the UK featuring Sovella equipment include Diamond Light Source, the UK's largest scientific facility for over 40 years, and Sortex, a manufacturer of food sorting machinery.
