Demonstrations in the UK during September 2005 of a new sub compact hand held Raman analyser weighing just 2kg with multiple applications in material analysis

Spectrolab has developed a new Raman analyser weighing just 2kg, so small that it can be carried by hand to analyse any sample in any environment The analyser can be used for multiple applications including the analysis of forensic material by analysing or screening for street drugs, explosives etc

Pharmaceutical analysis of incoming raw materials and finished products.

Chemical analysis of industrial QA products.

Medical analysis of blood, dialysis products, cancers, etc.

Homeland security applications including explosives and narcotics.

Military applications generally.

The new Raman analyser can be applied to all of these applications and much more, says Spectrolab.
