job
Spectroscopic and Analytical Developments specialises in the development of non-standard analytical and process control instrumentation
A considerable number of manufacturing and quality control processes rely on ultra violet, visible, or infra red spectroscopy (including colour measurement) as a method of monitoring or detecting process changes or the presence of contaminants In most cases this requires taking a sample to a laboratory in order to run the test, whereas it would be much simpler, faster and more convenient, either to monitor the process continuously on-line or to take a portable instrument to the sampling site
