Humidity chambers are precision controlled

A SP Scientific product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jun 22, 2009

Hotpack humidity chambers from SP Industries meet guideline requirements for a range of critical testing protocols.

These include highly accurate environmental conditions for stability testing, shelf-life testing and MIL-SPEC applications.

Quality engineered to ensure long life and reliable performance, Hotpack humidity chambers feature corrosion-resistant 304 stainless-steel construction, chromium heating elements and fireproof, non-hygroscopic glass-wool insulation, which is impervious to corrosive vapours and fumes.

Microprocessor controls with LED digital readouts enable efficient control of precise temperature and humidity conditions.

The Hotpack range includes environmental chambers in a range of sizes from 8-72ft3, in both single- and dual-chamber models, as well as walk-in rooms for large-capacity testing.

Environmental chambers are offered with a selection of two temperature ranges (35C to 70C and 2C to 70C) and humidity levels (20-96 per cent) to meet almost any testing requirement.

Exclusive Quadraflow mechanical convection systems provide laminar air flow providing temperature and humidity uniformity through the Hotpack environmental chamber.

Available as an option on all models, a viewing window in the door enables test specimens to be viewed without disturbing chamber conditions.
