For use in analytical instruments such as UV/is spectrophotometers and flat field imaging spectrographs, SSI concave gratings offer efficiencies as high as 80% coupled with extremely low stray light

Spectrum Scientific announces the introduction of a range of blazed concave holographic gratings Using a proprietary technique, SSI is able to produce blazed grating without using ion etching

This greatly reduces the stray light while maximising the energy over the required spectral range.

The process used yields a blaze profile that varies across the grating surface leading to high efficiency at the blaze wavelength.

In addition to its range of blazed concave holographic gratings, SSI also offers plane holographic gratings - both sinusoidal profiles and blazed - as well as replicated optical surfaces.
