New software driver for the Reliance
autosampler
Gives Analyst users seamless integration of Reliance in LC-MS setup, offering the best possible autosampler for the bio-analytical samples in a fully 21CFR-11 compliant software controlled environment
In bio-analytical labs operating under GLP and or FDA guidelines, 21CFR-11 compliancy is mandatory for almost all software controlled instruments With the release of Analyst 1.4.1 including the AAO (analyst access object) interface, front-end instruments such as autosamplers or online-SPE-LC systems can now be truly integrated into one automated and compliant (SPE)-LC-MS setup

Vial-to-file bioanalysis in a single step
Integrated bioanalysis process allows users to put cryogenic vials with a non-volumetric raw plasma sample into the system and collect, after an uninterrupted run, a complete data file
Spark is one of the first companies releasing a driver that use this new AAO interface.
"Basically we use the Analyst database to store the autosampler data", says Tjipke de Beer, Spark's lead software engineer.
"This allows us to use all the new audit trail and electronic signature functionality from Analyst 1.4.1, so we could focus our efforts on writing a simple and user friendly interface for our Reliance autosampler.
"That is what we think is most important to our customers".
The Reliance autosampler provides high throughput automated sample processing of raw biological samples without prior clean-up.
Minimising carryover and a robust operation in a closed and fully conditioned environment are some of the key features of this autosampler.
The Reliance control software for Analyst 1.4.1 allows full control of the Reliance from Analyst.
The software can be used in combination with any LC system and MS within Analyst.
Spark will continue to develop more new Analyst drivers to integrate the Symbiosis automated online-SPE system.
With Symbiosis, bio-analytical labs can fully automate sample preparation and LC-MS.
