Round samples such as tablets can be held under compression, while films and other flexible materials can be held under tension The Micro Vice sample holder provides a simple yet versatile means of placing samples for examination with microscopes, stereoscopes, FTIR- and Raman microscopes

Stretch accurately fibres, polymer films, etc.

Hold easily round and unevenly shaped samples.

Tilt samples for correcting oblique sample orientation.

Two screw handles are used for tightening samples under compression or for stretching samples using tension by user defined increments.

The clamps are cushioned to protect the specimens from damage.
