Software puts fingerprints in focus
Wiltshire Police is using Syncroscopy Auto-Montage software to produce entire fingerprint images from three-dimensional surfaces, something that is extremely difficult to do with photography alone
Software for 3D microscopy
Syncroscopy has launched Auto-Montage version 4 software, designed to help microscope users obtain perfectly focused images of three-dimensional samples in seconds
SyncroCool 435 has a unique three 1360 x 1024 pixel CCD chip system which provides major advantages over all other cooled camera systems.
It includes perfect colour quality, and full resolution live images at an incredible speed of 7.5 frames per second with no sub-sampling and compression as is common with most digital cameras.
This not only offers the benefit of saving users valuable time with practical, brightfield slide scanning and focussing, but also with image capture - as images can be downloaded to computer in an instant without tediously long download times.
Peltier cooling provides up to 38 degrees of cooling, and the specially selected, ultra low noise CCDs enable the SyncroCool 435 to detect even the weakest fluorescence signals.
Syncroscopy has written a special version of its acquisition software, Acquis, which enables the signal from each CCD to be displayed and captured individually.
This combination of camera and software functionality makes the SyncroCool 435 the ideal solution for all fluorescence microscopy, and low light level applications.
Bob Town, Syncroscopy's general sales manager commented: "We are proud to demonstrate the SyncroCool 435 at Pittcon because we believe it is a significant breakthrough for microscope camera users.
It is currently the world's only camera that can be used for many diverse light microscopy tasks, without compromising the quality of a single one. Request a free brochure from Syncroscopy ...
Since it captures high resolution, colour brightfield images as well as clean fluorescent images from lengthy integration periods, it is the ultimate for laboratories that demand speed and sensitivity from just one camera." Syncroscopy is on stand 5825 at Pittcon.
