New image analysis system

Syngene has introduced its new Genius range of image analysis systems, the world's first CCD system to use Firewire for chemiluminescent and fluorescent applications, at Biotechnica

The new ChemiGenius2 and GeneGenius have unrivalled camera technology as well as software enhancements for powerful resolution and sensitivity to help life scientists get better results, faster The new ChemiGenius2 system includes Syngene's unique Firewire technology for 16 bit image capture in real-time and is the world's first CCD system to use it for chemiluminescent and fluorescent applications

Both systems now come with a thoughtfully designed new light tight darkroom that is ideal for the ever-changing space and safety needs of genomics and proteomics laboratories.

The CCD camera is positioned inside the cabinet to make it compact enough to slide under laboratory shelves.

The darkroom also has a unique upward sliding door to save bench space and is fully interlocked to prevent accidental UV exposure.

It also comes complete with a safety screen, which clips into place over a built in lightweight, slide out transilluminator.
