Fully automated point of care haematology analyser is suitable for ITU and A and E departments as well as in remote locations and anaesthesis units

Sysmex UK has launched the Poch-100i - a fully automated point of care haematology analyser that can deliver full blood counts (FBC) in just two minutes.

Ideal at the point of care in ITU and A and E departments as well as on the ward, the compact Pochi is also suitable for use in remote and anaesthesis units, alongside other critical monitoring equipment such as blood gas analysers.

With turnaround times for traditional laboratory-based FBC analysis typically between three and eight hours, Pochi's rapid results enable clinicians to make critical decisions quickly - saving both time and money.

This portable and highly robust analyser is extremely easy to use and operated via a touch sensitive screen.

18 parameters can be read from a single 20ml aspiration and reagents are provided in a convenient, compact pack.

Safety is paramount in the design of Pochi with closed vial sampling provided as standard.

PocHi joins the Roteg system for whole blood haemostasis and PFA-100 platelet function analyser as part of the rapidly expanding range of point of care products available from Sysmex UK.
