Syware, a developer of mobile database tools for business and personal productivity, has announced the spring 2008 Visual CE and Associated Tools training courses

Visual CE is an award winning rapid application development tool used to create database applications that run on Microsoft Windows Mobile Pocket PCs Syware will offer this round of classes near its corporate headquarters in Cambridge, MA

The first class will be held on 5 May 2008 and will be a full day session covering basic database design and an introduction to mobile application development with Visual CE.

An intermediate full day class will be held on May 6, 2008 covering Visual CE development specifics.

"Visual CE and associated tools introductory class" is appropriate for someone who has never written a program before, but is comfortable with computers, or someone who has used desktop database development systems, such as MS Access, and wants to start developing similar applications for Pocket PCs.

It will cover the basics of table design, application architecture, synchronisation, and creating a GUI.

"Visual CE and associated tools intermediate class" will be open to people who have taken the first class or those who have some previous experience using Visual CE.

It will introduce Visual CE's associated tools, mEnable and Report CE.

The intermediate class offers detailed instruction on using Visual CE and other Syware tools to create mobile data entry applications.

The introduction class will be offered on 5 May 2008, the intermediate class will be offered on 6 May 2008.

Both classes will be in the greater Boston area.

The tuition is US$299 for either day of instruction or $499 for both days.

A continental breakfast, box lunch, and afternoon snack is included.

Class size will be limited and applicants will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
