Chemometric modelling for NIR
applications
Thermo Electron announces a agreement with Camo Software, a pioneer in multivariate statistical software, to promote compatibility between Thermo's Result software and Camo's Unscrambler software
Thermo will offer the Unscrambler suite of products as a software option with its Antaris range of near infrared (NIR) analyzers, and will also join Camo's scientific board of advisors, which helps plan upcoming development activities The enhanced compatibility between Result and the Unscrambler allows Result to automatically integrate existing Unscrambler methods bringing together the most powerful NIR analyzers, with the most efficient modeling software available for NIR applications

Spectrometer features non-contact, non-destructive analysis of both microscopic and macroscopic samples in a highly customisable, research-grade
Method developers and NIR experts in the food and pharmaceutical industries require powerful chemometric modeling and exploratory statistical tools to conduct difficult analyses such as studying relationships in their products and manufacturing processes.
Modeling may now be executed using the Unscrambler, and calibrations may be implemented in real-time routines with the Result workflows, thereby eliminating the need for data conversion or rebuilding methods in different software.
The Unscrambler's wizard-driven Design of Experiment features, together with its advanced modeling capabilities is of particular benefit for PAT implementations that require optimized method development for the NIR analysis and exploration of the process design space.
