Tecan and Cerionx announce an exclusive distribution agreement for the supply and marketing of the Cerionx eight-channel TipCharger system to the worldwide biopharmaceutical market

Addition of the Cerionx TipCharger system as an integrated and supported component to Tecan's automated liquid handling and robotics workstations provides added value to customers by offering uniquely superior pipette tip cleaning and sterilisation.

The TipCharger system uses room temperature ('cold') atmospheric pressure plasma to clean and sterilise pipette tips by removing contaminants at the molecular level without using hazardous solvents.

This revolutionary plasma cleaning technology reduces the potential for contamination at the sample and consumable levels, reduces run time and improves assay productivity.
