Thermo and MayLab Analytical Instruments announce the release of new software control for the MistraSwitch multi column selector for the Mistral oven with the Thermo Scientific Surveyor Plus HPLC

The Thermo Scientific Surveyor Plus HPLC is specifically optimised for the most demanding HPLC and LC/MS applications Short cycle times, high sample capacity, low flow rate performance, and patented LightPipe technology in PDA detector have been integrated into one complete system for high-throughput sample processing environments

MayLab Analytical's MistraSwitch system solution is designed for fully automated selection for up to ten HPLC columns (for pressure up to 15,000psi) under temperature control using a Spark Mistral or Mistral Cool column oven.

When used with the Thermo Scientific Surveyor Plus HPLC, a variety of different HPLC columns can be under rigorous temperature control and automatically controlled and selected through the Thermo Scientific ChromQuest chromatography data system.

"This provides HPLC users with an ideal solution for many chromatography operations including method development and QA/QC," comments Edward Long, strategic marketing manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

"The ChromQuest CDS provides a uniform software interface for all Surveyor Plus HPLC instrument control functions as well as the MistraSwitch".

"The MistraSwitch system solution in combination with Surveyor Plus HPLC and ChromQuest CDS provides the user with highest flexibility and helps saving valuable time", according to Hans Mayrhofer, founder and managing director of MayLab Analytical Instruments.
