Laboratory service group now operates from Thermo Life Sciences at Basingstoke, while spectroscopy has relocated to Cambridge

In February 2002 the laboratory service group at Thermo ARL was merged with Thermo Life Sciences at Basingstoke All Careplan contracts have been transferred to Thermo Life Sciences and continue to be honoured

In addition, renewal notices will be sent out from there.

All Thermo ARL field service engineers now report to Roger Howe, UK service manager for Thermo Life Sciences, increasing the number of service engineers to 30 covering the whole of the UK.

As result of the integration of Thermo ARL, LSG and Thermo Life Sciences UK, the service department will be one of the largest in the UK with the ability to service most products in the laboratory.

The spectroscopy business formerly at Thermo ARL, Crawley, has relocated to a new site at Cambridge and all enquiries and invoice payments relating to spectroscopy should be directed to them.
