In incubated or refrigerated models, MaxQ 6000 shakers suit plasmid purification, protein expression studies, genetic research, solubility studies, growth of bacteria and yeast and metabolism work

Thermo Fisher Scientific has introduced its new MaxQ 6000 stackable shaker The units resemble an incubator with two adjustable stationary shelves located above the 18x18inch rotating platform

Thermo Scientific MaxQ 6000 stackable shakers are powered by a triple-eccentric drive that handles heavy workloads, provides uniform agitation and enables continuous 24-hour operation.

The incubated chamber temperature ranges from 10C above ambient to 80C.

The refrigerated temperature ranges from 15C below ambient to 80C to cover a wide range of molecular biology applications.

The new shakers feature a door with a large glass-viewing window to allow researchers to observe samples without disturbing the chamber atmosphere.

The shakers can be used under the bench or stacked two high on the floor for space savings.

The MaxQ 6000 stackable shakers accept an 18x18inch platform that will hold up to five 2l Erlenmeyer flasks and has a 0.75inch circular orbit providing excellent product yields.

The unit can accommodate a dual tiered 18x18 platform to increase the shaking capacity of the unit.

Speed, operating time and temperature can be viewed simultaneously on three individual displays, which helps minimize errors in establishing running conditions.

All units have a market leading warranty of five years on parts, one year on labour and lifetime on the drive mechanism.

The new Thermo Scientific MaxQ 6000 stackable shakers carry the UL, cUL and CE agency approvals.
