A Tintometer product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Feb 13, 2006

Plastic cell for those applications which require throwaway cells or for viscous materials that are difficult to clean out of the traditional glass cell

For those applications which require throwaway cells, or for companies handling particularly viscous materials that are difficult to clean out of the traditional glass cell, Tintometer can now offer a 5.25 inch plastic cell, sold in packs of 28.

The maximum temperature of the new polystyrene cells is 80C although special PC polycarbonate cells can be ordered which are heat resistant up to 133C.

The new cells are ideally suited for the colour measurement of alcohols, mineral oils and vegetable oils.
