Tintometer launches new 5.25inch polystyrene cell for applications requiring throwaway cells, or for particularly viscous materials that are difficult to clean out of the traditional glass cell

For applications requiring throwaway cells, or for companies handling particularly viscous materials that are difficult to clean out of the traditional glass cell, Tintometer can now offer a 5.25 inch plastic cell, sold in packs of 28.

The maximum temperature of the new polystyrene cells is 80C although special PC polycarbonate cells can be ordered which are heat resistant up to 133C.

The new cells are ideally suited for the measurement of alcohols, mineral oils and vegetable oils.
