Lab informatics at Beijing show
Thermo Electron presents its expanded offering of laboratory software at the Beijing Conference and Exhibition on Instrumental Analysis (BCEIA), 22-23 October 2005, at Peking University
Demonstrations of Thermo's industry-leading laboratory information management systems (Lims) and chromatography data systems (CDS) for the petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries in particular will be available "BCEIA is the perfect venue to introduce our flagship Lims, SampleManager, and the latest version of our CDS, Atlas 8.0, to China's growth industries that are looking to reduce the risk and total cost of ownership of their informatics implementations, while being assured of the rewards of working with proven technologies," said Michael Kelly, director, Asia Pacific northern region for Thermo's Informatics business

For pharmaceutical customers in the region, Thermo will preview Darwin Lims, designed specifically for pharmaceutical development and quality control.
Also available for demonstration will be Thermo's Lims for bioanalysis, Watson, and its in vitro Adme/Tox Lims, Galileo.
Thermo says its commercial off-the-shelf systems provide the most application-specific functionality out of the box, minimising customisation while maximising productivity and ease of use.
