James Burke, the science historian, will present his ideas on technology and innovation at Thermo Informatics World (TIW) 2006, a user group meeting and informatics conference
Burke will present as keynote speaker during the general session of the three-day conference, being held 7-9 November at the Hotel InterContinental in Prague Burke's presentation, 'Staying ahead: innovating for the day after tomorrow', focuses on the origins of technological innovation, the historical effects it has on society, and why, as a result, he recommends a change in thinking
