Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Apr 17, 2007

Thermo Fisher Scientific will host Thermo Informatics World (TIW) 2007, a group meeting and laboratory informatics conference for the Middle East, on 14-16 May at the Jumeriah Emirates Hotel in Dubai

Thermo Informatics World (TIW) 2007 - Middle East is organised to showcase new and future developments of Thermo Scientific-branded informatics, including laboratory information management systems (Lims), chromatography data systems (CDS), and desktop spectroscopy software.

The complimentary conference provides the opportunity to share industry perspectives and changing business requirements that drive the enhancements in informatics solutions.

The programme for 2007 features customer presentations, highlighting experiences and achievements using Thermo Scientific informatics, as well as product-specific presentations and breakout sessions led by Thermo Fisher product managers and business consultants.

Training courses for Thermo Scientific SampleManager Lims and Atlas CDS, as well as a two-part course on how Lims can assist with compliance with 17025 standards, are offered at a nominal fee during the conference.

Representatives of Thermo Fisher's Informatics management team and its partner, Kanoo/Ksoft, will attend the conference, providing an ideal opportunity to meet face-to-face with users, facilitating discussion and feedback for new feature requests.
