Atlas CDS supports Windows Vista operating system

A Thermo Fisher Scientific (Informatics) product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Oct 2, 2008

Thermo Fisher Scientific has announced that its Atlas chromatography data system (CDS) supports the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.

Atlas version 8.2 provides liquid chromatography (LC) and gas chromatography (GC) instrument control, digital data acquisition, chromatography data processing and reporting in a Windows Vista environment.

Thermo Fisher Scientific's Atlas CDS provides a scalable client/server environment for laboratory networks across life science and process industries.

Designed as a multi-user, multi-instrument data system, Atlas enables remote network access to any chromatograph across the enterprise, including the Thermo Scientific Accela High Speed LC.

All data can be centrally viewed, collected, secured and protected - enabling organisations to make faster and more informed decisions.

In addition, Atlas provides seamless integration of LC/GC results with enterprise-wide laboratory informatics management systems (LIMS) applications including the range of Thermo Scientific LIMS.
