The new Solaar M series, with a footprint of less than 0.5 sq m, provides dual atomisation multi-element AA analysis, all packed into one compact spectrometer

The Solaar M5 system from Thermo Elemental offers a flame and furnace combination, whilst the M6 provides a flame and Zeeman furnace equivalent A dedicated Zeeman furnace system, the MQZ, provides 3 types of background correction, for maximum flexibility

Automatic changeover between the pre-aligned flame and furnace atomisers is possible purely by software means, due to the unique Echelle optical system.

Automatically optimised atomisation conditions and optional graphite furnace television (GFTV) for perfect method development make for trouble-free multi-element analysis.

Two new Solaar S series systems complement the M series.

Developed for ease of use, both have an even smaller footprint but still offer total automation of all optical parameters plus QuadLine background correction.

The S4 is the reliable, workhorse, multi-element AA system, ideal for cost-effective high sample throughput laboratories.

A unique six-lamp carousel automatically aligns the lamps and data coding retrieves method parameters suitable for analysis.

The S4 has a fully automatic gas control system whereas the entry level S2 has a single lamp and semi-automatic gas system.

All Thermo Elemental AA systems are available with a new Windows 98/2000/NT compatible, true 32 bit AA software suite.

An optional high resolution LCD local control interface is also available, which itself offers control of all atomisation parameters with a high quality graphic display.
