This new software provides all the tools needed for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance when generating results with a Thermo AA series spectrometer

Thermo Electron announces the launch of its new software, Solaarsecurity, for customers who need to demonstrate compliance with the US Federal Drug Administration (FDA) 21 CFR Part 11 requirements This new software provides all the tools needed for 21 CFR Part 11 compliance when generating results with a Thermo AA series spectrometer

It complements the existing Solaar AA instrument control and data handling software with additional security and tracking tools.

Solaarsecurity will also be of value to laboratories not subject to FDA scrutiny but still wishing to ensure correct and accurate records, such as contract analysis laboratories whose records may be used in courts of law.

Thermo AA spectrometers are available with either a flame or furnace system.

The instruments have the smallest footprint in the field; just 0.5m2.

Moreover, the M series AA spectrometers feature a new Echelle monochromator-based optical system that provides unmatched detection limits and sensitivity.

Additional options include choice of lamp turret, optics, multi-element analysis capability, and automation accessories.

For more information about the Solaarsecurity software, please contact your local Thermo office.
