Free trial of total organic carbon analyser
Customers have the opportunity to send a maximum of five samples to ther company's laboratories and to receive a complete application report in return
Recognising the importance of offering a truly integrated total organic carbon (Toc) solution, Thermo Electron recently launched the HiPerToc, a unique high performance toc bench top analyser featuring four different oxidation techniques for improved versatility and productivity in today's environmental laboratory.
Thermo will be offering limited free of charge trials of the HiPerToc, thereby providing customers with the opportunity to send a maximum of five samples to Thermo's laboratories and to receive a complete application report in return.
Toc analysis has become the analytical backbone in many water treatment and quality control laboratories worldwide.
Measuring total organic carbon is crucial, especially in drinking water supply, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, semiconductor and wastewater businesses.
The presence of organic carbon compounds can potentially interfere with wastewater treatment processes, and the production of drinking water.
Selection of the best suitable techniques depends primarily on the sample matrix and/or legislative standards to comply with.
The HiPerToc offers a total customer solution by removing the need to choose between the four common Toc techniques.
High temperature oxidation.
An excellent technique providing fast results in non-saline samples and samples that are difficult to oxidise.
It is particularly recommended for both particulated liquid and solid samples.
UV/persulfate.
An ideal oxidation technique offering accurate results in routine environmental and drinking water samples.
This method enables large sample volume handling and direct Toc analysis.
UV (ultra pure).
A reliable technique suitable for extremely sensitive analysis results down to ppb level.
UV/ozone promoted.
A powerful analytical technique for superior Toc analysis results of waters containing inorganic chloride and other salts up to percentage range.
Complying with international standards - EPA, ASTM, ISO, DIN and CEN -, the HiPerToc benchtop analyser operates with fully integrated 55 position autosampler and rapidly provides accurate and precise Toc data at both high and low concentration ranges in a wide variety of sample types.
