Temperature alarm is flexible and simple

A Triple Red product story

Alarm signals will operate local alarm sirens, central alarm panels, dial mobile phones or pagers, or even a website

Effective temperature monitoring is an important function for many laboratory applications, especially those involving equipment such as ultra low freezers and incubators.

Temperature alarm systems play a vital role in alerting operators to potential problems and laboratory specialist Triple Red has recently introduced a range of radio alarm systems for temperature monitoring of critical laboratory products.

The ES100RX is a radio alarm system for monitoring of critical laboratory products.

Alarm signals will operate local alarm sirens, central alarm panels, dial mobile phones or pagers, or even a website.

No hard wiring is required, so not only is the system very simple to install, it's also very flexible, allowing products to be moved in the future or additional units to be added.

Data-logging of temperature can be provided for optimum control of critical products or GLP applications.

The wireless alarm system can accommodate a temperature range of -200C to +100C and up to 126 items can be installed on it.

Alarms can be transmitted either via telephone to different people for different freezers or via e-mail or text message to confirm which freezer has failed.

The system consists of a receiver which is linked into a telephone line and can call up the allocated numbers if one of the freezers or incubators goes out of range.

Each product requires a separate transmitter which can either be a simple device or a data logger transmitter.

If the data logger is set to sample every 30 minutes it has the capacity to store 12 months of data.

Operational distance is approximately 100 metres depending on the building construction, however a transponder can be used to extend the range if required.
