Purogene is a powerful high level disinfectant that is non-corrosive at use concentration, is unaffected by water pH, does not 'chlorinate' and leaves no taste or odour

Purogene, supplied now in the UK by Tristel Technologies, is a stabilised chlorine dioxide product that is specified and used by many local authorities, NHS Trusts and industrial operations for manual 'fill and soak' disinfection of domestic hot and cold water services for legionella control It is also widely used as a source of chlorine dioxide for continuous treatment of domestic water systems for bacteriological control and for occasional disinfection where 'fill and soak' cannot be used

Purogene is approved in the UK for use in water for drinking, washing, cooking and food production, and as a disinfectant for water works apparatus, reservoirs and distribution systems.

Purogene is available in 5, 25 and 208 litre drums.
