Designed as a high-end LC/MSn platform, offering extensive experimental versatility and analytical precision for demanding applications such as biomarker discovery and proteomics

The new MDLC LTQ from Thermo Electron provides a high-end LC/MS with extensive experimental flexibility and high precision for proteomics solutions.

Co-developed with GE Healthcare (a combination of the former Amersham and GE Medical Systems), this instrument platform comprises GE Healthcare's new multidimensional chromatography system, the Ettan MDLC, and Thermo's Finnigan LTQ linear ion trap mass spectrometer.

The MDLC LTQ is designed as a high-end LC/MSn platform, offering extensive experimental versatility and analytical precision for demanding applications such as biomarker discovery and proteomics.

The system uses high-pressure mixing with direct flow monitoring for absolute gradient reproducibility.

The entire flowpath is bio-inert, allowing high-yield analysis of peptides and proteins, in native and post-translationally modified forms.

Pre-configured analytical method strategies allow for high resolution separations using alternating single column applications, and both on-line and off-line multidimensional LC techniques with detection by the ultra-sensitive Finnigan LTQ linear ion trap mass spectrometer.
