Primarily targeted at any current users of electrospray ionisation for molecular weight determination of large biomolecules such as intact proteins

Thermo Electron has introduced new software to automatically process biomolecule LC/MS data, using integration and deconvolution algorithms - ProMass Deconvolution 2.0 The software utilises Novatia's novel algorithm, ZNova, which generates deconvoluted spectra that are free of artefacts

Thermo says scientists will benefit from ProMass Deconvolution 2.0 because it produces artefact-free deconvoluted ESI mass spectra of biomolecules.

Automatically processes multiple files from an Xcalibur sample sequence.

Provides web-based results including chromatograms, colour-coded summary and tabular results.

Automatically finds and reports target masses of proteins, peptides, and oligonucleotides.

In addition to ProMass Deconvolution 2.0, Thermo's biosoftware portfolio includes BioWorks and DeNovoX.
