A new high flow quick disconnect coupling couplings for corrosive and ultra pure fluid applications has been launched in the UK by Tom Parker

Manufactured by Colder Products of the USA, the Chemquik CQV06 all plastic coupling for high flow ultra-pure semiconductor and chemical fluid applications, are the first all plastic couplings made of ultra-pure PVDF This material together with the Chemraz seals provides better chemical resistance and meets industry ultra pure standards

Peek or optional 'Fluoro' plastic springs maintain the metal free flow path and provide instant shut off upon disconnection.

Disconnection is made easy with the trademark CPC thumb latch, while a secure connection is confirmed by an audible 'click'.

Manufactured in a controlled environment using no contaminating lubricants, and double bagged in class 100 anti-static clean room bags, makes them ideally suited for acids, chemicals, ultra-pure fluids and other specialised applications.

The CQV couplings are designed to operate within a pressure range of 0 to about 5.5bar, and a fluid temperature range of about 0 to 100C.

For maximum design flexibility they are available in panel mount and in-line configurations with NPT threads and integral flare style terminations for connection to PFA, FEP and other semi-rigid tubing.
