Thermo Electron introduced the new Haake Viscotester 1 Plus and 2 Plus models at Achema 2003.

These handy instruments are designed for all applications where quick and reliable test and comparative measurements are part of the daily routine, eg for QC or incoming goods monitoring applications.

Viscosity measurements can be carried out anywhere independent of the location and a power supply with this small, battery-operated rotational viscometer.

The Viscotester is started at the simple push of a button and the rotor can be immersed into the material to be tested The turning resistance gives the measure for viscosity, which can be quick and easily read on the digital display.

The quality of the measuring results can be increased with an optional individual system calibration which improves the measuring uncertainty from 5% (status upon delivery) to 1%.

The Haake Viscotester Plus viscometers are delivered in a package with three rotors and cups in a transportation case.

Existing rotors from older Viscotesters can be used without problem.

Mounted on its stand, the Viscotester Plus quickly becomes a stationary laboratory instrument.
