These programmable incubators are said to be ideal for use in pharmaceutical, biotech, biochemistry, clinical, general chemistry, and other laboratories

Torrey Pines Scientific announces two new programmable, chilling/heating, bench top incubators The models lN35 and lN45 are Peltier based units with no compressors or CFCs and a temperature range from 4.0C to 70.0C with control to 0.1C (even at room temperature)

They have interior capacity of 27.5 litres and 55 litres respectively.

Both models have fully programmable controls that are capable of storing three routines in memory.

Each routine is capable of ten steps and each programme step is a temperature, time, and ramp function (if required).

Each programme can be made to repeat from one to 99 times automatically.

Programmes are stored in Cmos for instant recall and use at any time.

Units have an RS232 interface for data collection, and 99 day timer readable to one second.

These programmable incubators are said to be ideal for use in pharmaceutical, biotech, biochemistry, clinical, general chemistry, and other laboratories.

Typical applications include protein crystal growth, culture growth, enzyme reactions and deactivations, incubating marine cultures, ligations, hybridisations, storing ooytes and DNA libraries, BODs, and so on.

All applications may be done above, below, or at room temperature.

These units are UL, CSA, and CE listed and are available in 100, 115, and 230 VAC, 50/60Hz models.
