Torrey Pines Scientific has introduced its EchoTherm Model IC35 Series Peltier-driven Chilling/Heating Heavy-Duty Dry Baths to handle sample blocks with the largest sample capacities available

The IC35's are fully programmable and can store 5 programs in memory with 10 steps per program for instant recall and use Each program can be made to repeat automatically from 1 to 99 times

The IC35 has an energy efficient Peltier design offers digital control (-10C to 100C) and the IC35XT model (-20C to 100C) can freeze, chill, or heat samples in a variety of sample blocks that can hold 0.5 to 50ml centrifuge tubes, test tubes, vials, assay plates, and even round-bottom flasks.

These high capacity units can freeze, chill, or heat 64-1.5ml centrifuge tubes, 9-50ml centrifuge tubes, or even 4-250ml flasks on just some of the large variety of sample blocks available.

The compact size fo the IC35 and IC35XT units use little bench space and measure 8.5inch (21.6cm) wide x 10inch (24.5cm) deep x 4inch (10.2cm) tall.

The bath range is UL, CSA, and CE compliant.

Other features include: - Control at ambient.

- Built-in data logger.

- Count down timer (up to 30 days) with audible alarm and user settable.

- Auto-Off.

- RS232 I/O port for data collection.

- Electronic calibration.

Factory set, but user settable to any local standard.
