DNA Ligase IV/XRCC4 tetramer

A Trevigen product story
Edited by the Laboratorytalk editorial team Jan 31, 2006

Functions together with Ku protein, DNA-dependent protein kinase catalytic subunit, and other repair factors in a cell-free end-joining assay to assist in the repair of DNA double-strand breaks

This tetramer is ideal for studies involving NHEJ (nonhomologous end-joining), duplex ligation assays, and irradiation sensitivity assays.

One unit of the tetramer is the amount of enzyme required to ligate oligo (dT)24 when hybridized to poly (dA)300 at the rate of 1pmole in 30 minutes at 25C.
