Testometric has developed a dedicated machine to automatically determine switch operating forces and displacements.

The machine can be configured to store a large range of test methods that monitor the test cycle and display a real time plot of force against displacement with event marking at make and break of contacts.

There is also a displayed indication of change of resistance during the test that can help identify potential problems.

The machine is equipped with a large sliding base plate and adjustable position load cell so that it will accommodate large and complex multi-switch assemblies.

A printout of results and statistics can be generated and there are various levels of data storage and report generation available.
