Due to increased product installations in the USA TTP LabTech announced at DDT 2004 the launch of its new customer support and demo facility located in Norwell, Massachussetts

The new facility will be equipped with a spares store, meeting rooms and product demonstration area, providing a fully-functional customer support centre and complements TTP LabTech's field-based US sales team The facility will be headed up by Joby Jenkins who has been working with US customers for over two years

TTP LabTech supplies laboratory-scale instrumentation and automation products including Compound, a high-density, modular storage system, mosquito, a nanolitre pipetting station with disposable micropipettes, and Acumen Exlorer, a fluorescence microplate cytometer for the development and execution of powerful cell-based high content screening assays.

Jas Sanghera, TTP LabTech's commercial director said "Over the last two years we have had a great deal of success in US with installations in companies like Wyeth, Pfizer, Lilly, Millennium Pharmaceuticals and Vertex.

With this new facility we can now hold spares in the US for our current range of products so that we can support customers with rapid turnaround times.

In addition, our demonstration centre means that our sales and engineering team can meet customers for training seminars as well as product demonstrations".

The new facility will go live in October 2004.
